A temporary exhibition opened at the Museum of Literature and Art on February 14 dedicated to the great Armenian writer, teacher, publicist Ghazaros Aghayan’s 180th anniversary. Some of the writer’s personal belongings, jubilee messages of literary activity, books published in different years,and autographs and photographs as well, were presented.
The opening of exhibition was followed by the award ceremony of the Writers’ Union of Armenia, Hrant and Manushak Simonyans, where Gagik Saroyan earned the Avetik Isahakyan award for his “ Bacikner" book, Avik Isahakyan earned the Hovhannes Tumanyan award for “ Vernatan Zavakner”, Susanna Hovhannisyan earned the same award for her book "Hovhannes Tumayan”, writer Nane got the award of Mikayel Nalbandyan for her book“ Verjin Eranin”. Elfick Zohrabyan, Felix Bakhchinyan, Hakob Mush and Shant Mkrtchyan also received awards in various nominations.
