On the 10th of March, the Museum of Literature and Art hosted a memorial service dedicated to the 75th anniversary of writer, publicist Sasunik Torosyan and the presentation of the book “Gisher”. Edward Militonyan , the president of Writers’ Union of the Republic of Armenia, made an opening speech, then the composer Tigran Mansuryan , the director of the Charents Museum of Literature and Art Karo Vardanyan, Chief Advisor to the Mayor of Yerean Kamo Areyan, prose writer Roland Sharoyan, literary critic Arkmenik Nikoghosyan, literary critic Armen Avanesyan, philosophy lecturer Gevorg Hakobyan and the grandson of Sasunik Torosyan- Aram Torosyan made speeches. Singer,composer Davit Amalyan, pianist Gohar Matevosyan and soloist Manush Harutyunyan, kanon player Marianna Gevorgyan performed musical performances.
During the event, the guests watched a short film about Sasunik Torosyan’s life and activities.
